I readily admit, I enjoyed the first Scream. I know it’s not exactly what you would call high brow entertainment, but I liked it nonetheless. I also admit that I haven’t really kept up with the subsequent films. Are they up to Scream 23 yet? All of that being said, I’m curious about MTV’s plans to make a pilot for a series based on the movie franchise. With the announcement that Wes Craven is being pursued to direct the pilot episode, I may actually have to tune in and give it a try. Just as an aside, and I’m sure I’m dating myself by saying this, but am I the only one who remembers when MTV actually played music? I’m just sayin’.
