Tor.com has posted a new story, “Ponies” by Kij Johnson. Teaser: If you want to be friends with The Other Girls, you’re going to have to give something up. Kij Johnson is the author of The Fox Woman and the World Fantasy Award-nominated Fudoki. She is also the associate director of the Center for the Study of Science Fiction at the University of Kansas. The illustration is by Chris Buzelli. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, Chris moved to New York City; his oil paintings have since appeared in many publications, including Rolling Stone, TIME, Playboy, and The New York Times.
