From the press release:

Christopher C. Payne, President of JournalStone Publishing, is pleased to announce that K. H. Vaughan will be coming on board as the Editor-in-Chief of Hellnotes.com.  Ken is moving from the position of Review Coordinator to take his new position.  In this capacity, Mr. Vaughan will be responsible for all content that appears on the site.  He brings with him a vision that will make the site the best location for our readers to find all the latest news in horror publishing as well as horror events, movies, and festivals.  Additionally, you can expect to find the best in horror short fiction on our site.

Russ Thompson, the former Director of Hellnotes, is taking a position on the publishing side of JournalStone.  He will still be involved with Hellnotes in a limited role, but is eager to begin his new responsibilities.  Below is his parting statement:

“I just want to say what a pleasure it’s been to be at the helm of Hellnotes for the past year and a half.  I hope that you’ve enjoyed the things that we’ve done here in that time.  I know I certainly enjoyed doing them.  Alas, nothing lasts forever, and it’s time for me to move on to other challenges within JournalStone.  It is with a touch of sadness that I leave Hellnotes, but also with much excitement about my new position.  I’m also excited to see how Hellnotes will grow under Ken’s leadership.  He brings an incredible amount of knowledge and energy to this job, and I have no doubt that you will be exceptionally pleased with his results.”
