Destination America today announced that it has begun production on an all-new series hosted by world-renowned ghost hunters Adam Berry and Amy Bruni. KINDRED SPIRITS (working title) will premiere in 2016 exclusively on Destination America following the fearless duo as they help real families tormented by paranormal activity at home, with the added stress that the spirits may be their own late family members. Scared by the mysterious happenings but hesitant to pick up and leave their homes, these families have turned to two of America’s leading paranormal investigators to capture evidence, try to guide the wayward spirits into the light, and bring closure to each home.
Destination America will unveil more about KINDRED SPIRITS (wt) exclusively at Comic-Con International on Friday, July 22nd from 7-8 pm in Room 7AB in a Supernatural Super Panel that will unite ghost hunting’s elite investigators for one night only. Join PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN’s Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman – who are also currently in production on the show’s second season – Adam Berry and Amy Bruni from KINDRED SPIRITS (wt), and the “Godfather of the Paranormal” John Zaffis from HAUNTED COLLECTOR, which airs Tuesdays at 10/9 c on Destination America.

Berry and Bruni got their start on SyFy’s groundbreaking series Ghost Hunters, which defined a new genre in supernatural storytelling on television. The pair recently guest-starred on an episode of PARANORMAL LOCKDOWN on Destination America, joining hosts Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman on a 72-hour investigation of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum.
Throughout their combined career, Nick Groff, Katrina Weidman, Adam Berry, Amy Bruni, and John Zaffis have more than 10,000 investigations under their belt, from famous haunts like The Exorcist house, the Stanley Hotel and the house on which A Haunting in Connecticut was based, to secret hot spots that only the bravest dare speak of. They rose to fame in some of TV’s hottest paranormal programs including Ghost Adventures, Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, and Haunted Collector, but now call Destination America home and, for the first time together on stage, will regale the Comic-Con audience with tales of their darkest, creepiest, and most life-altering paranormal experiences. Also, they will discuss how the work of Ed and Lorraine Warren – Zaffis’ uncle and aunt – and the original paranormal Holy Grail of The Conjuring led them to where they are today. Additionally, they will make themselves available for all-access questions from fans, unveil never-before-seen footage, and reveal exclusive news to the Comic-Con audience about what Destination America has in store for a history-making Halloween.
