T. Lyn Fletcher, the author of the upcoming supernatural book series Twisted and Turned, has been invited to participate in the fall EyeCon Celebrity Autograph Convention to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, October 28-30. EyeCon Celebrity Autograph Conventions, best known for conventions geared towards the shows True Blood and Supernatural series and the Twilight movies, added a new show and location in March of this year: the EyeCon Vampire Diaries Convention in Atlanta, spotlighting the stars of the CW Network’s TV series that’s filmed in Atlanta. Fletcher attended the March event and will use the October convention to continue to promote her upcoming book series. “The reception I received in March was exciting and so encouraging,” she said. “I was thrilled to hear so many people say that they can’t wait for my books to come out. I can’t wait to meet more future readers during the fall convention.” Twisted and Turned is “a true love story of supernatural proportions,” Fletcher says. It begins with an archangel in heaven who falls so deeply in love with a human soul that she arranges to be born on earth in the same place where this soul will be born. The soul actually becomes twins – stunningly handsome twin vampires. Yet the archangel is destined to find and fall in love with one of the twins – even though her natural instinct is to destroy demons. She even bears children from this unlikely union. “The archangel/vampire connection seems to really intrigue readers of the genre,” Fletcher said. The EyeCon weekend will includes panel discussions, celebrity Q&A events, photo op and autograph sessions with the cast of The Vampire Diaries, a Sixties style Dance Party and Banquet with the Stars, and a Halloween Party. The event will be held at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel on Courtland Street.

Here are a couple more stops on Stephen King's book tour for 11/22/63: November 10th, Dallas, TX King will be appearing at The Majestic Theatre, 1925 Elm Street, Dallas, TX in an on-stage conversation. This is a charity benefit for The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza whose staff was instrumental in assisting Stephen with his research while writing 11/22/63. Tickets will go on-sale on Wednesday, October 5 at 9:00 a.m CT. November 7th, - Boston, MA King will be appearing at the JFK Library, Boston, MA, to do a reading and on-stage conversation from 1:30-2:30 PM. All forums are free and open to the public. The next Fantastic Fiction at KGB reading series get together, hosted by Ellen Datlow and Matthew Kressel, will present Holly Black, the bestselling author of several novels, including Valiant, winner of the Andre Norton Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature. Her most recent novels are White Cat and Red Glove of the Curseworkers series, and the third in the series Black Heart, will be out in 2012. Holly’s short fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies and is collected in Poison Eaters and Other Stories. In addition, Holly has co-edited three anthologies and is working on the third volume of her graphic novel series The Good Neighbors. Also reading will be Lauren McLaughlin, a former screenwriter whose short fiction has appeared in Salon.com, Interzone, Sybil’s Garage, and Year’s Best SF. Her first novel, Cycler, based on her own screen adaptation is in development and the sequel, (Re)Cycler, was nominated for the American Library Association’s Rainbow List for LGBT fiction. The next Fantastic Fiction at KGB reading series, hosted by Ellen Datlow and Matthew Kressel, will present Michael Swanwick, one of the most acclaimed and prolific science fiction and fantasy writers of his generation. Swanwick has received a Hugo Award for fiction in an unprecedented five out of six years and has been honored with the Nebula, Theodore Sturgeon, and World Fantasy Awards. His latest novel is Dancing With Bears, a post-Utopian adventure featuring confidence artists Darger and Surplus, published recently by Night Shade Books. Also reading will be Andy Duncan. His new collection, The Pottawatomie Giant and Other Stories, will be out this fall from PS Publishing. His story "Slow as a Bullet" leads Jonathan Strahan's Eclipse Four anthology, and "On 20468 Petercook" is forthcoming at Tor.com. Duncan is a winner of two World Fantasy Awards and the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award for best science-fiction story of the year. The next Fantastic Fiction at KGB reading series get together, hosted by Ellen Datlow and Matthew Kressel, will present Katherine Vaz. Vaz has been a Fellow in Fiction at Harvard University and has published two novels, Saudade and Mariana, translated into six languages and selected by the Library of Congress as one of the Top 30 International Books of 1998. Her collection Fado & Other Stories won the Drue Heinz Literature Prize and Our Lady of the Artichokes (1999) won the Prairie Schooner Book Prize. She's a Radcliffe Fellow and recipient of a National 2000 Endowment for the Arts Award and has published short fiction in numerous magazines. Also reading will be Geoff Ryman, whose new collection of short stories Paradise Tales has recently been published by Small Beer. A new long short story "What We Found" is due out soon in Fantasy and Science Fiction. His stories, novels and anthologies have won 14 awards including the Arthur C Clarke Award, the John W Campbell Memorial Award, the Tiptree and the Dick awards. His novels include The Child Garden and Was, both to be re-issued in new editions by Small Beer Press.
