This month’s Fantastic Fiction KGB Reading Series, hosted by Ellen Datlow and Gavin J. Grant, will present several writers who contributed to Interfictions: An Anthology of Interstitial Writing. With special host co-editor Delia Sherman, the readers will include: Rachel Pollack (author of 30 books of fiction and non-fiction, including the award-winning novels Unquenchable Fire and Godmother Night), Catherynne M. Valente (author of the award-winning Orphan’s Tales and seven other books of fiction and poetry), Tempest Bradford (author of short fiction published in Farthing Magazine, Abyss & Apex, and the anthology Thou Shalt Not …), Veronica Schanoes (a writer and a scholar with a particular interest in fairy tales and genre theory. Her work has appeared in Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet, Trunk Stories, and Jabberwocky), and possibly a surprise guest or two.
The reading takes place on Wednesday June 20th at 7pm at KGB Bar, 85 East 4th Street (just off 2nd Ave, upstairs.)
