About The Author: John Russo is widely lauded as a “living legend” of the horror genre. Russo’s comic book publisher, Avatar, is preparing to release a huge graphic novel containing all of the recent Night Of The Living Dead comics, most of which were written or conceived by Russo and fully authorized by George A. Romero. Avatar published Russo’s Escape Of The Living Dead comics, based on his original screenplay, which made the Top Ten of Horror Comics nationally and spawned ten sequels and two graphic novels. Russo is slated to direct the movie for producer Danny Roth of Stonebrook Entertainment. Russo’s partner, Joe Majestic, will serve as Executive Producer. Cast will include horror icons Kristina Klebe and Kane Hodder.
