The International Conference of the Fantastic in the Arts took place in Orlando, Florida from March 19th through the 23rd, and Ellen Datlow has graciously shared the photos with us.
The purpose of IAFA is to promote and recognize achievement in the study of the fantastic, mainly through the organization and management of an annual academic conference, the International Conference on the Fantastic in the Arts (ICFA). IAFA also publishes the Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts, which is a peer-reviewed journal for scholarship within the field of the fantastic, and the news blog on this site (under News in the menu), which publishes information relevant to the IAFA membership.
Membership in the IAFA is open to anyone who is interested in our purpose, whether you participate in our annual conference, the ICFA, or exchange ideas via our listserv, you are welcome if you want to interact with scholars, writers, teachers, and others who share your interest in the fantastic in the arts. Academic affiliation is not a requirement for membership.
