Lansdale’s Lost Echoes

posted by

Publishers Weekly has just published an article on Joe R. Lansdale, tagging him as a “blue-collar” writer. Written by Melissa Mia Hall, who is in her own right a fine writer and occasional collaborator with Lansdale, the article explains just how Italy managed to publish Lansdale’s Lost Echoes before Vintage releases it here in the US in February 2007. In fact, Lansdale was in Italy for the October Italian debut which coincided nicely with his being honored with the Grinzane Cavour Literature Prize for Lifetime Achievement. The entire article may be found here: Publisher’s Weekly
