THE LAST DRIVE-IN
by Sheldon Woodbury
A gloomy horde of cars and trucks rolled into the crumbling Moonlight Drive-In on this solemn night. They’d grown up watching horror movies on its shimmering screen, soaking in every bloody detail. But times had changed and tonight would be the last night, the death of a ritual they loved. There were the usual scares, glowing like colossal nightmares in the dark. When the movie was over, they rumbled away again, like ghosts in the night. But they’d decided to come back and show the new owners what they’d learned about blood and horror from that glorious screen.
