We don’t get many opportunities to help the next generation of horror writers get started, but we’re pleased to be able to today.  Without further ado, we would like to present to you a story written by 12 year old Audrey Jones:

The Cyber Start

The girl walked down the corridor. She turned right and gasped. A tall metal man faced her. “Cyberman 105 activated. Brain 192347 erased of all emotions,” he said walking forward and grabbing her arm. “Extraction preparations commence.”  The Cyberman took the girl into a room and strapped her to a chair. As he left, a large device with sharp razors flew down from the dark sky. The girl screamed in pain as the device removed her brain from her body, erased it of all emotions, and placed in another Cyber body. “Cyberman 106 activated. Brain 192348 erased of all emotions.”
