A Prison Inside Us

by Sheldon Woodbury

I’ve discovered there’s a prison inside all of us where we keep locked away what we fear the most, a depraved  pit that’s not part of our flesh and blood.  It’s a secret place where everything we love is defiled and destroyed.   I’m telling you this, because I’ve been to this place and the worst part of me has now escaped.   I’m begging you with all my heart to please forgive me.  The voice you hear is me whispering in your ear.  I’m waiting for you to wake up and see what your wife has become.
