He was out on another limb, in this case a steel beam protruding atop the scaffold of a tower under construction. He really needed to keep better company. The man he faced was a thug, a wealthy classless hood, and this would be his new lair. The guy didn’t earn such privilege, he stole it from others. Lockhart was trying to make a difference, rid the world of scum. Fearless, the victim seized his oppressor and dropped back. The bullets sailed right through. Lockhart smiled and let go. Wings lifted him, while the dirtbag plunged with a lengthy wail.
