Hell On A Beach In Chicago

posted by

Chicago’s longest-running genre reading series, Twilight Tales, closes out the month of August with “Beach Blanket Blood Bath” on Monday, the 24, at 7:30 p.m. The event, co-sponsored by killer-works.com, offers an open-mic contest, where writers must limit their offerings to 15 minutes or 3000 words, and stories must take place on a beach. Winning stories will be published at the Killer Works site with 1st prize netting $25 and 2nd $15. Adding to the mood is the fact that this event will take place at Bistro on the Lake (“…which is in the theater building where Fullerton meets the park/water. You go under Lake Shore Drive to get there.”). More information here: Twilight Tales
