Gauntlet is now taking orders for the 12th installment of the Repairman Jack series, By The Sword (tentative title). F. Paul Wilson calls By The Sword “the most frenetic and deadly Repairman Jack novel yet.”
While Gauntlet will take orders now for the 500 copy numbered and 26 copy lettered edition they won’t charge credit cards until December 31. Be one of the first 100 to preorder and receive free a signed print of the Harry O. Morris cover art. Available late-Spring 2008, but only those who order from Gauntlet are guaranteed a copy as the last 4 Repairman Jack books have sold out on publication. To pre-order: By The Sword
Also coming out from Gauntlet in 2008: Jack Ketchum’s Only Child (aka Stranglehold). Ketchum fans have heard of Only Child (later published under the name of Stranglehold) but it’s almost impossible to find at a reasonable price. Released in 1995, Stephen King had this to say about the Ketchum novel: “This is a devastating novel, perhaps too powerful to be published in the United States. Jack Ketchum at his terrifying best!” High praise, indeed, for this novel of spousal and child abuse with an ending among Ketchum’s best. Gauntlet will be publishing a signed limited edition of this phenomenal novel in the spring of 2008. To pre-order: Only Child
