Evil Ways by Justin Gustainis, the second volume in the Quincey Morris Supernatural Investigations series published by Solaris Books, is due for publication on December 30th. The first novel about occult investigator Quincey Morris and his partner, “white” witch Libby Chastain, Black Magic Woman, was released last January.
In Evil Ways, Morris and Chastain are drawn into the same horrific case, but from different directions. Morris is recruited by the FBI to investigate a series of ritualistic child murders; Chastain barely escapes an attempt on her life by assassins with magical powers. Both of these threads eventually lead them to a conspiracy so vast and so diabolical that it threatens the future of all mankind.
Justin Gustainis is a college professor living in upstate New York. He is also author of The Hades Project (2003) and a number of award-winning short stories.
