By Dave

A couple of recent Edgar Allan Poe items you may find of interest. First, Ellen Datlow has written a blog post about the funeral that Edgar Allan Poe should have had, along with her own eulogy to the famous writer in this year celebrating the 200th anniversary of his birth. As you may know, there were several funerals for Poe performed over the weekend. You can catch Datlo’s take here: Edgar Allan Poe

In addition, there will be a Poe reading in Baltimore October 15th. Reading and signing Poe (from Poe, 19 New Tales Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe edited by Ellen Datlow) in the Poe Room (2nd floor) of the Central Library, 400 Cathedral St., Baltimore, MD, October 15, 6:30 PM, will be Gregory Frost and John Langan.
