Downstream, Famous Monsters of Filmland’s very first feature film, is rolling out to theaters. To kick it all off, on February 24th (Weds) at 7:30pm, they’re having a sneak preview followed by a Q&A with the writer, cast and crew of Downstream at the The Egyptian Theatre (6712 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028). Downstream is one of the first handful of projects to be shot on the RED ONE camera for a modest budget and it’s a night you won’t want to miss.

Description: Wes Keller is a young man born to a world where oil has collapsed, the food supply has been wiped out, and cancer rates for women have skyrocketed, depleting the female population. In a barbaric environment where bio fuel, batteries, bullets and people are currency and marauders roam free, Wes tries to escape to a mythical world run on cold fusion “Plutopia,” a place that may only exist in the mind.
