Cemetery Dance Publications has announced that they’re now reading unsolicited submissions for their e-book line. All submissions will be processed through their online submissions page at Submittable.com. Please do NOT email submissions. The best way for them to be reviewed is through the online system.
Their Guidelines
Cemetery Dance Publications is looking for the same thing in their e-book line that they look for in their hardcover publications: well-written, compelling works that keep them turning the page.
For the e-book line, they’re open to just about any genre: horror, mystery, suspense, thrillers, science fiction, fantasy, westerns, and anything that crosses these genres. They read A LOT of different genres and the e-book line is an opportunity for Cemetery Dance Publications to bring all kinds of different works to their readers.
They’re looking for novelettes, novellas, novels, and short story collections (single author). Manuscripts should be at least 10,000 words, although they’d recommend a collection be at least 20,000 words. There is no maximum.
Please include your contact information, a short synopsis of the work, and your bio in the “cover letter” field during the submission process.
No need to query, just submit your best work and they’ll reply as soon as possible.
Please Note
If you’ve been published by Cemetery Dance, Tor, Kensington, Zebra, Leisure, Warner, Signet, St. Martins, Random House, Grand Central, or any major New York publisher or advance paying independent press, please email Brian Freeman directly for more information before you submit.
