Archstone Distribution has acquired worldwide rights to the new thriller film BEACH HOUSE, which was directed and co-written by Jason Saltiel. Co-written and produced by Matt Simon, and executive produced by Ben Barenholtz, BEACH HOUSE stars Willa Fitzgerald, Murray Bartlett, Orlagh Cassidy, and Tom Hammond. Andrew van den Houten of 79th & Broadway Entertainment is also executive producing and handling sales. The film is set to be released in theaters nationwide on June 22nd.
The film follows Emma (Fitzgerald), whose quiet beach retreat takes an unsettling turn with the arrival of an enigmatic artist from her mother’s past, Paul (Bartlett). Paul challenges, enthralls, and frightens her, as Emma comes to suspect him of a terrible crime.
Fitzgerald is best known for her recent role as Meg March in the new PBS series Little Women, and was a series lead on MTV’s Scream: The TV Series. She recently wrapped THE GOLDFINCH opposite Ansel Elgort, and also starred opposite John Cusack in the feature BLOOD MONEY.
Bartlett is best known for his lead role on HBO’s Looking, and has also been a recurring character on Marvel’s Iron Fist on Netflix, and CMT’s Nashville.
79th & Broadway Entertainment is currently in production on the thriller THE BLOCK ISLAND SOUND directed and written by The McManus Brothers, and will have the horror sequel 14 CAMERAS in theaters later this summer through Gravitas Ventures.
Archstone will release BEACH HOUSE on multiple VOD platforms later in the summer.
