This July The Vladar Company (http://vladar.com/), in partnership with ARCANA Comics, will release the highly anticipated post-apocalyptic set graphic novel HEAD SMASH (http://www.headsmash.net),’ a sci-fi thriller penned by both Vlad Yudin and Erik Hendrix of ARCANA. Multi-talented writer, director and producer Yudin and his producing partner Edwin Mejia will soon join the elite ranks of distinguished comic book writers and artists. Yudin and Mejia are producing in addition to adapting the film’s screenplay, which is currently in pre-production with THE TWILIGHT SAGA producers Mark Morgan and Michael Beckor (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118060685). The thrilling graphic novel shares the ultimate story of betrayal, love, and loyalty and the limited first edition preview was released at last fall’s New York Comic Con and completely sold out in 2 days, leaving attendants thrilled for the full version which will hit stores later this month.
As featured guests at this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego which took place July 18-21st at the San Diego Convention Center, fans were treated to exclusive first look editions with covers designed by Kanye West’s graphic artist Joe Perez and a few lucky winners received autograph copies of the novel signed by renowned comics’ artist and multiple Eisner Award winner Tim Bradstreet.
