The Journal of Unlikely Entomology just released its second mini issue, titled Hello World, and it’s now available online.

For the ‘hello, world’ mini-issue of The Journal of Unlikely Entomology, they asked writers to give them tales of something new coming into the world, something which, now that it has come, changes everything. (And also, bugs.) In turn, authors presented them with tales of evolution and transformation. In this issue, you’ll find a computer program, a colony of insects, and a handful of mechanical devices, all clever enough to exceed their established parameters, and adapt to a new world, or force the world to adapt to them.

Here’s the Table of Contents:

  • Let the Bugs Work Themselves Out by Luna Lindsey
  • Nikki 2.3 by Brent Knowles
  • The Clockworm by Karen Heuler
