Being the chosen one is never easy, especially when you’ve given up all of the perks that come along with it. Fighting the darkness gets harder and harder for hapless horror heroine Claire Wilmenson as she’s forced to come to terms with her ever shrinking lifespan as her body and mind begin to show the vicious wear and tear of being the world’s premiere monster hunter, now stripped from her by choice in order to retain her humanity. As her family’s twisted backstory unfolds, bringing Claire’s long thought dead sister into the fold, Claire and Co. will not only face the demons of her past, but an onslaught of paranormal evil the likes none of them could have ever prepared for. Season 5 is bursting with more monsters, more scares, more laughs, and more shocking twists than ever before as familiar faces return and new ones emerge to fight the things that go bump in the night, and worse yet, their own terrifying mortality.
