minnesota opera logoThis one is just too good to not tell you about.  Stephen King’s iconic Carrie is going uptown.  According to an article in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Shining will be adapted by the Minnesota Opera and will debut in May of 2016.  The process to obtain the rights was fairly arduous, but everyone was able to come to an agreement.  The one thing everyone agrees with is that the project must remain true to the book.  I don’t know about you, but this just might get me to go to the opera, something my wife has tried to get me to do for a long time.
