The psychological horror-thriller was written and directed by Tony Wash, whose short film (“THE MUCK”) was met with critical acclaim at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival.
“Working with a talent like Tony Wash to bring such a phenomenal urban legend to life has given us all a great deal of excitement,” says producer Mike Dozier. “Combined with the outstanding cast and genre bending storyline we feel we have a winning combo.”
The film follows three siblings as they return home to reconcile the murder of their parents 20 years earlier, and discover a startling connection to a local urban legend.
Domestic sales are being handled by Paradigm, who also represented this year’s SXSW film “I DREAM TOO MUCH.” Jason Howard, Tommy Vlahopoulos, Tom Chopkowski and Matthew Lamothe are serving as executive producers. Howard and Lamothe most recently produced the 2015 film “I’LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS” and Vlahopoulos produced the 2015 horror film ”INTRUDERS.”
