I have a confession to make.  The first movie that ever really scared me was Carrie.  I was 12 years old and hadn’t seen anything like that before.  For the next several weeks after I saw it, I made sure that my hands and feet were nowhere near the edge of the bed when I went to sleep.  I still do that when I think about Carrie.

The Carrie remake is due to come out in October with Chloe Moretz in the lead role and Julianne Moore as her slightly (or maybe not so slightly) unhinged mother.  Sounds like a winner to me.  Don’t take my word for it.  Take a peak at the newly released trailer below.
