Like a bat out of hell, the Twin Cities Horror Festival kicked off its 2017 season last night by announcing its lineup for this coming fall. Entering its sixth year as North America’s largest live performance horror festival, the TCHF released this year’s show lineup (below) at its Seven Deadly Sins Soirée fundraiser— an event celebrating the festival’s past five years, featuring a silent auction and special performances by local artists.

In 2012, the TCHF was launched by Four Humors Theater as a juried, horror-themed, live performance arts festival, and since its inception has featured shows from the realms of theater, dance, music, storytelling, audio drama, and even interactive experiences. Over the years it has grown to host over ten companies each year and span eleven days of nightly performances, including the “Death-cathalon,” two nights planned to showcase nearly every production in the festival. In 2016, the festival issued over 2,300 tickets while maintaining its commitment to supporting artists, paying out 85% of ticket sales to performers— a commitment it will continue this year with 100% of tickets sales being passed along to participating theater companies.

Located in the historic Southern Theater in Minneapolis’ Seven Corners district, and right around the corner from the Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown by Marriott, the festival has also begun expanding to the national and international scene, featuring touring companies from across the United States and even Canada. Make your plans and get your tickets now to see the festival this fall. The crowds are just dying to get in!
