Jamie Bishop, son of writer Michael Bishop, was killed on Monday, one of the victims of the massacre in Blacksburg, VA. The younger Bishop was a professor of German at Virginia Tech though he was also a noted and respected artist who created fantasy art, including designing covers for his father’s novels.
