On August 31 Lisa Mannetti, Bram Stoker award winning author of The Gentling Box, will be visiting helluo librorum.

“I’ll be talking about The Gentling Box, Deathwatch (a novella coming out in spring 2010 with Cargo Cult), 51 Fiendish Ways to Leave Your Lover (a macabre gag book illustrated by Glenn Chadbourne, due out in February 2010 from Bad Moon Books), the short film Bye Bye Sally, based on my story ‘Everybody Wins’ and directed by Paul Leyden and the book I’m currently working on, The Everest Hauntings,” says Mannetti.

On Monday, she’ll be discussing the horror genre, literary horror, how to research your novel, and how much of that information should be divulged to the reader. On Tuesday she’ll be discussing point of view, voice, and upcoming projects.
