Jonathan and some friends are flying to a new resort in the Alaskan wilderness when their plane crashes in the middle of nowhere. With one of their group injured and another starting to suffer a mental breakdown, Jonathan and another member of the group, Lindsey, leave the downed aircraft and head into the wilderness to find help. The two soon learn that there are greater dangers than starvation and exposure.

Finding a ghost town named Exemption, they find there are places better left undisturbed. Jonathan and Lindsey try to run for their lives from a terrifying supernatural evil in the town, but find they are trapped.
