The Predator by A. R. Thomas

He was a predator, and she was just unfortunate.  The bar had been crowded, but she was obviously alone.  Slip a little something in her drink and here she is.  She had probably never known real pain, but that would change tonight.  And then she would die.

It was the speed of her movement that confused him.  He was tying her ankles to the table, and then suddenly she was on top of him as he lay on the floor.  Funny, he didn’t remember her having fangs in the bar.  She was a predator, and he was just unfortunate.
