In anticipation of the return of Penny Dreadful on May 1st, we’ve conjured up a fan-driven art competition titled “The Art Of The Dreadful Gallery Contest.” Starting today through Friday, May 13th, we are encouraging Dreadfuls of all skill-levels to summon their masterful Penny Dreadful-inspired creations, from the beautiful to the grotesque, to be exhibited in The Dreadful Gallery.
The Chosen Ones will be announced beginning Sunday, June 12th where three Grand Prize Winners will receive an authentic, one-of-a-kind prop from the set of Penny Dreadful along with a prize pack full of official merchandise to display in their own galleries. On Sunday, June 19th, one Grandeur Prize winner will be announced during the final two episodes of Season 3 – which will air back-to-back starting at 9p ET/PT. This “Master Dreadful” will receive $1,000 and be commissioned to transform their creation into an official poster, product, or for an upcoming Penny Dreadful comic book.
We have been blown away by the fan art we’ve seen already with this passionate fanbase and are excited to shine a spotlight on their immense creative talents.
