Gabrielle S. Faust has been chosen by the Vampire Lestat Fan Club as this year’s Guest of Honor at the Queen of the Damned vampire ball in New Orleans, this Halloween. “I am absolutely thrilled and honored beyond words,” says Faust. “The Vampire Chronicles was one of the first series of horror books I read in grade school and, now years later, to be the Guest of Honor at an event paying tribute to the series is extremely touching.”

Faust will also be attenting a book reading and signing at The Twig Book Shop (5005 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209) on Friday, September 12th, from 5pm — 7pm. And she’ll be attending the West Texas Book & Music Festival in Abilene, Texas on Saturday & Sunday, September 26 & 27th, where she’ll be in the author’s tent, selling and signing copies of Eternal Vigilance.
