Courtesy of FoxNews.com, we learned yesterday that Tombstone, AZ filmmaker, Timothy Fattig was arrested on suspicion of negligent homicide and booked on a $40,000 bond at the Cochise County Jail after deputies discovered the skeletal remains of his mother inside the home.

And what kind of films does Fattig make for Desert Scream Productions? Why, horror films, of course.

While Fattig isn’t known for dressing up as his mother, you can’t help but make the connection to Robert Bloch’s Psycho, where Norman Bates also kept the corpse of his dead mother around the house.

The good news out of all this is if the autopsy reveals that the woman died of natural causes, charges will likely be downgraded to failure to report a death, which is a misdemeanor, and Fattig will be able to move on with his life. Without his mother, of course.
