It’s great to see that my hometown of Charleston, SC will have it’s own Horror Film Festival.  How does this affect you?  Well, if your a filmmaker, you’re in luck.  The Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest is now looking for early submissions.

The Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest is now accepting early submissions for it’s first annual horror film festival taking place in Charleston, SC on April 19-20, 2014.

We are excited to announce that the hosting venue will be Cinebarre located across the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge in Mount Pleasant.

 

 

The Crimson Screen Horror Film Fest takes place the weekend following the exciting Charleston International Film Festival so now is a great time to plan on attending both festivals!  Please consider staying at our Official Hotel, ALOFT Hotel as well!

We are seeking all types of horror feature and short films including slashers, thrillers, zombie, vampire, music video, documentary, experimental, student films and more from all over the world!

Enter your film in this new and exciting horror film festival and you may be nominated for a “Crimmy”! Good luck and we can’t wait to see your horror film!

BEST DIRECTOR
BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY (Short and Feature)
BEST ACTOR (Short and Feature)

AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD (Short and Feature)
HOMETOWN HORROR AWARD (For SC produced films)

DEADLINES:
Early deadline is now through November 15th
Shorts (under 49 minues): $20
Features (over 49 minutes): $25
