Sample card above – Holy Gate, No 40 “The doors of pure happiness will soon be opened. The path was long and sometimes very hard. You’ve travelled through dark forests, you’ve climbed huge mountains. But there you are. You finally reached your destination and you ought to be proud of yourself. The gates of heaven are about to be open for you. Once you’ve cross the threshold, you will experience a considerable change to your life. This will be your new kingdom. For your soul has reached a point where wisdom, happiness and joy can become your everyday achievement. So welcome to heaven. Keywords: achievement, completion, being close to heaven, blessing, reaching your destination. Affirmation: I feel proud of everything I have achieved so far. I feel complete and blessed. I feel grateful in advance for all the happiness life is about to bring me.”
Holy Gate, Number 40 was chosen at random as I read it to a client who rang to say she couldn’t make her appointment as she was admitted to hospital for cancer treatment! I thought the messages assumed a lot of personal and serious information that the Client and Reader might know more about.
Digital illustrator, Alexandra Bach and author, Carole-Anne Eschenazi have worked together on De La Nuit Oracle and Tarot de la Nuit, and continued their collaboration with this ‘at the crossroads’ that takes you to ‘a new threshold’ as the opposing themes of real and imaginary, past and present, combine to produce messages for life guidance. We are instructed to give priority to our own intuition as we get to know the cards and their enigmatic highly posed images. Each card gives us an image, often female, young and sexy. There is a title, a number and a subtitle on the cards and in the guidebook, we are provided with a 100 word message, keywords and an affirmation. We are given information on how to use the deck and a request “Dear Dark Light Oracle, what is your first message to me?”
Suggested spreads are: 3 cards, The Year (12 cards), The Dark Light (7 cards).
It’s a trendy looking deck, for very young women, I would suggest.
