SFC-Event-Cover-Nigh9A4CD3LA’s biggest outdoor movie series, Street Food Cinema, will be screening “A Nightmare on Elm Street” under-the-stars this this SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24th at Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades with special guest Heather Langenkamp – who starred as Nancy in this horror classic. Langenkamp will be on-hand for an 7:30 p.m. Q&A before the 8:00 p.m. screening – where she will share stories of the late director, the genius Wes Craven. Then after the movie, there will be a special screening of “Never Sleep Again” – the documentary about this iconic film – which features interviews from Langenkamp, Craven, and Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund.

As always, this dog-friendly evening will be highlighted with a live musical performance by local band Haunted Summer (at 6:00 p.m.). And food trucks such as Me So Hungry, Say Fish Tacos and What the Funnel will be on-hand for those who don’t bring their own picnic dinner. It’s the perfect way to kick-off Halloween week, and to hear the first-hand account of working on the legendary horror.
