wwc-front-cover-vincent-chongDark Regions Press gets weird

After the success of WORLD WAR CTHULHU, Dark Regions Press has announced their new Weird Fiction line of which WWC will be its premier release. In addition, I am thrilled and proud to say that I will be the Managing Editor of Dark Regions Weird Fiction. Yes, that means more Cthulhu Mythos anthologies will be in the works, but I’m looking to expand even further into the macabre for this new line. DRP:WF will also be publishing novels and a new series of novellas to complement our anthologies. Furthermore, Weird Fiction means more than just the works of H.P. Lovecraft. While we will only accept original and unpublished work for this line, I will be looking for tales in the flavor of classic authors such as Robert W. Chambers, William Hope Hodgson, Clark Ashton Smith, Robert E. Howard, Arthur Machen, and Algernon Blackwood, as well as those that took what came before and expanded on it like Robert Bloch, Ramsey Campbell, and Brian Lumley. Then on to modern masters like Neil Gaiman, T. E. D. Klein, Thomas Ligotti, China Miéville, and Laird Barron. That’s just a sampler of the strange that interests me. If it is weird and dark, I want to read it. If it’s very good, I want to publish it. If you are a writer of the weird and you’re looking for a publisher for your next work, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] and maybe together we can put something a little weird out into the world. You may also want to follow me on Twitter @BrianMSammons as news and other tasty bits are sure to find their way there.

Best,

Brian M. Sammons
