Gauntlet Press is reporting Richard Matheson’s Nightmare At 20,000 Feet has been laid out and is being sent to the printer this week.

Gauntlet had planned an elaborate wooden slipcase for the lettered edition. Unfortunately, they recently heard from their traycase maker. He was in an accident and has temporarily lost the use of his left arm so he will not be able to make the traycase. Finding another manufacturer for a wooden traycase would be next to impossible so Gauntlet has been in talks with their leather slipcase/traycase manufacturer and have come up with something they consider quite impressive. While the slipcase will be made from leather it will still have a window on the top (similar to looking out of the window of a plane) so readers will be able to see a portion of the front cover without opening the traycase.

You can still order here: Nightmare At 20,000 Feet
