On Saturday July 10th Dark Delicacies will present two very special signings featuring Hollywood history.
At 2:00p.m. Screenwriter and author Ib Melchior will be signing his new book Six Cult Films from the Sixties: The Inside Stories by the Writer/Director. Ib is the pen behind such cult films as Reptilicus, The Angry Red Planet, The Time Travelers, Journey to the Seventh Planet, Planet of the Vampires, and Robinson Crusoe on Mars. He will be joined at the signing by Academy Award Winner Robert Skotak who wrote the foreword.
Then at 5:00p.m. composer John Debney will be signing the CD soundtrack for the upcoming Predators movie. He will be joined by actor Brian Steele who plays the Berzerker Predator, Mr Black and Falconer Predator.
On Sunday July 11th at 2:00p.m. there will be a special Vampire Day. Authors Elizabeth Barrial and D. H. Altair will be signing their book Vampires Don’t Sleep Alone, author VMK Fewings will be signing her novel Orpheus: A Vampire’s Rise and rounding out the signing is novelist Maggie MacKeever will be signing Vampire Bespelled.

On Friday June 11th at 7:00p.m. in the evening Dark Delicacies, America’s Home of Horror, will kick off its Grand Reopening weekend with an appearance by Doug Jones. Doug will be signing the DVD releases of his films (Silver Surfer, Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth, etc) as well as signing and selling photos.

On Saturday January 30th at 2:00 P.M. Dark Delicacies will hold a signing for composer David Shire – Zodiac, Norma Rae, Short Circuit, The Taking of Pelham, etc.
And the next day, on Sunday January 31st at 2:00 P.M., author Charlie Huston will be on hand, signing his new crime thriller Sleepless.

On Tuesday February 3rd at 7:00p.m. Dark Delicacies, in conjunction with Emerald Knights Comics and Games, will hold a signing of one of the largest gatherings of Friday The 13th alumni ever assembled. The signing will involve both stores with half of the signers at one store and the other half at the other. It is a ticketed event with numbered tickets for your place in line being free with the purchase of the DVD. You must have a ticket to attend the signing. Celebrating the release of the new 2-disc DVD documentary His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th, the signers scheduled to appear at press time were:

Dark Delicacies has announced a special signing with award-winning editor Stephen Jones on Tuesday November 4th at 4:00p.m. Jones will be signing his new anthology The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror #19. Also signing the anthology will be award-winning author Glen Hirshberg. In addition, flying in from England with Stephen Jones will be author Tony Richards, who will be signing his three books Dark Rain, Passport to Purgatory and Shadows and Other Tales. Rounding out the signing will be novelist and screenwriter Peter Atkins signing his new novel Moontown.
