Michael H. Hanson’s new shared-world anthology, Sha’Daa: Tales of the Apocalypse, published by Altered Dimensions Press (an imprint of Cyberwizard Productions), will be officially released in May 2009.

Description: Once every 10,000 years comes the Sha’Daa, a two-day stretch of time when evil is permitted to cross the dimensional barriers and attack the Earth. Sha’Daa: Tales of the Apocalypse is a collection of frightening tales that run the gamut from true soul-shaking horror, to wry and ironic takes on the end of reality as we know it. Unlikely heroes in unusual locations around the globe battle not only for their own survival, but for all of humanity. For ten millennium demons and monsters have been nothing more than folktales, relegated to obscure campfire orations to which we no longer pay heed. Make no mistake, the hellrealms endure, their denizens slaver with hatred, lusting for human blood, and now their time has come.

A few of the authors and their stories:

  • Arthur Sanchez’s “The Way of the Warrior”
  • Lee Ann Kuruganti’s “The Seventh Continent”
  • Duncan R. MacMaster’s “Dixie Chrononauts”
  • Ed McKeown’s “The Dive”

We’ll have more as the publication date approaches. In the meantime, feel free to visit the website: ShaDaa
