The July Fantastic Fiction at KGB reading series, hosted by Ellen Datlow and Gavin J. Grant, will feature: Esther Friesner, who has written over 30 novels, over 150 short stories, and has won two Nebula Awards. Her latest books are Tempting Fate and Nobody’s Princess, with sequel, Nobody’s Prize, to appear in 2008. She also created and edited the Chicks in Chainmail anthology series. Also featured will be Paul Park, the author of ten books of sf, historical fiction, and fantasy. His most recent novels include The Gospel of Corax and Three Marys, which reimagine the stories of the Christian Gospel, and the first three volumes of The White Tyger, beginning with A Princess of Roumania in 2005. The last volume, The Hidden World, will be out in February.

It all happens on Wednesday July 18, 7pm at KGB Bar, 85 East 4th Street (just off 2nd Ave, upstairs.)
