Bad Moon Books will publish Gregory Lamberson’s novel Johnny Gruesome in the fall of 2007. Lamberson, author of Personal Demons, directed the cult film Slime City. He describes his new novel as “a valentine to E.C. Comics and the splatter films of the 1980s.”
Bad Moon plans to publish 250 limited edition hard covers signed and numbered by the author and illustrated by Zach McCain, and 26 Lettered Editions. Lamberson’s promotional scheme includes posting comic book adaptations of two chapters, illustrated by Kelly Forbes and Martin Blanco, on his website; shooting a special effects filled music video; and releasing the CD album, Gruesome, by Giasone and Marcy Italiano, prior to the novel’s publication. Previews of these various projects can be found on his website: Gregory Lamberson
