Examiner.com is currently running an interview with horror author Franklin E. Wales.
Wales is the author of such novels as Booger and Gamemaster. His upcoming works include Friend and Deadheads: Evolution. He’s also acted in films such as Alien Agenda: Endangered Species and Screaming For Sanity: Truth Or Dare 3.
In response to a question about his upcoming novel, Deadheads: Evolution, and zombies, Wales says, “The zombie formula is pretty basic, dead folks bite living folks who become dead folks who bite living folks, I know. As a fan of zombie movies, I wanted to try my hand at a zombie tale, and with a book you can have actual character development along with the gore. The story takes place two and a half years after the Deadhead virus was unleashed on earth. In that time, while humans are trying to rebuild their world, the Deadhead race has begun to evolve, to think and reason … They want to be the top of the food chain.
“The book also contains some seriously intense illustrations by Joseph ‘Jody’ Adams. The overall package is reminiscent of Stephen King’s Cycle of The Werewolf.”
