Host of the Armageddon (The Horsemen Chronicles Book 1)Bedlam Press, an imprint of Necro Publications, has released the paperback and digital editions of Host of the Armageddon (The Horsemen Chronicles Book 1) by Ken Scott Smith.

Description: “All folklore is based on some remnants of truth, the Bible is no exception … The Horsemen are very real, they are immortal, and their only goal is to feed on mankind’s suffering and enslave humanity.”

An elementary school full of kids destroyed by a tornado … A soldier makes it home from the Middle East only to be killed for his wallet … A mother of three diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer … Random events? NO.

Photojournalist Faye Monroe discovers that the ugliness and cruelty afflicting the world does not arise of its own actions: the countless wars, the outbreaks of disease and natural disasters, even the murder of her friends and family — the work of malevolent architects.

They Are Unleashed!

War, Death, Disease and Famine … The Four Horsemen have fed the world endless despair for millennia. But one of them has been destroyed and its spirit seeks a new host.

Faye, together with a Mossad agent and a rebel assassin, quickly plunge into danger, intrigue and supernatural adventure as the trio search for the key to save Faye’s soul … and hopefully prevent Armageddon.

A break neck supernatural thriller.

About the Author: Stacks of comics and episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series and The Twilight Zone paved the way for Ken’s vivid imagination. And while the Avengers, Captain Kirk, and Rod Serling were not ideal role models, his creative writing juices were flowing. His love of science fiction and fantasy led to a career in the laboratory, where he conducted experiments and published results as a research scientist. After earning a master’s degree in business, he racked up thousands of frequent-flyer miles as a marketing executive and did consulting for the biopharmaceutical industry. But amidst the business proposals and annual reports sat War of the Oaks and Symphony of Ages, among others, nuggets of inspiration and the fodder for fantasy adventures. Ken lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two children. He enjoys attending sci-fi and fantasy conventions, often in costume, mingling with science fiction and fantasy fans and letting his geek flag fly.
