On Sunday October 7th Dark Delicacies will feature a Halloween/Horror Day for the entire family in conjunction with the National Endowment for the Arts: The Big Read and in association with the group “Shakespeare at Play.” At 1:00p.m Illustrator Gris Grimly will be in store to sign his many books. From 2:00 until 4:00pm there will be kids crafts and readings. For the adults there will be mock séances channeling Edgar Alan Poe by Shakespeare At Play from 7:00 until 11:00 pm.
And on Tuesday, October 9th at 7:00pm, famed horror filmmakers Adam Green (Hatchet I & II, Frozen, Chillerama) and Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2, Chillerama, Knights of Badassdom), along with cast and crew, will be signing Blu-rays and DVDs of Holliston: The Complete First Season at the legendary Burbank bookstore.
