It’s coming this September to Atlanta, Georgia’s Alliance Theater … Ghost Brothers of Darkland County. Stephen King wrote the script to the musical, and the score was written by rock legend John Mellencamp. The story is apparently about the 1957 deaths of two brothers and a young girl and the legend that grows out of the tragedy.

The musical will feature an all-star cast, including Sheryl Crow, Elvis Costello, Neko Case, Kris Kristofferson, Roseanne Cash, boxer Joe Frazier, plus King and Mellencamp. And there will be a 3-disc set will be released for those who are unable to catch the musical live.
