The third installment of Gabrielle Faust’s Eternal Vigilance vampire series, Bound In Blood, is in the final publishing stages with Immanion Press. It’s currently slated for a late September release, though a final release date has not yet been announced. As previously mentioned, Ian Holt will be writing the forward to the book.

Faust has been asked to work as a consultant on a new vampire documentary series entitled Real Vampires. The documentary, co-produced by Howard Gertler, will follow a group of potential new pledges as they follow their desire to join a real vampire coven in New York City. The goal of the series is to portray the vampire lifestyle in an honest way that is removed from the glamorized, over-dramatized day-time & Hollywood TV image it has been given in the past few years. Casting calls will be held very soon in New York City.

Faust has finished the first draft of her new novella, Regret for Dark Regions Press. It’s reported to be very different from the Eternal Vigilance series.

Finally, Gabrielle Faust’s latest interview, conducted by the Memphis Vampire Examiner, Raelynn Coombs, is now live online. In it she says, “Writing has been the greatest passion of mine since I was a small child. Both of my grandparents on my father’s side were poets and playwrights and encouraged my interest in the art from the time I was old enough to pick up a pencil. While I studied creative writing in college, I made the conscious decision to pursue writing as a career about five years when I realized that my other career path of gallery art and graphic design, simply was not fulfilling me in the way I had always thought it was. I suppose you could say that writing is my “joy” and since dedicating myself completely to it, I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. There is absolutely nothing like crafting a story that you know other people are reading and allowing themselves to become immersed in, who are enjoying it as much as you are. Truly amazing!”
