The Freak Show Horror Film Festival has announced its lineup of films screening at this years festival. The Freak Show takes place October 9-11, 2009 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in sunny Orlando, Florida where independent horror filmmakers compete for the prestigious “Freaky” Award.
This year the festival will be host to several premieres including the Florida Premiere of The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond and the World Premiere of Herschell Gordon Lewis’s The Uh-Oh Show, formally known as Grim Fairy Tales. The festival is also proud to give this years Lifetime Achievement Award to the Godfather of Gore Herschell Gordon Lewis. Mr. Lewis will receive his award on Sunday October 11, 2009 during the awards ceremony.
