Description: A writer named Alice, played by Brittany Murphy, flees to an out of the way Victorian house after suffering a psychological breakdown. Under pressure to complete a screenplay for an important deadline, she throws herself into her work. But soon after her arrival at the secluded house, she experiences strange happenings and a horrible case of writer’s block. Her already fragile mind state is compromised by the pressure of the impending work deadline and her vivid imagination. The demands eventually becomes too much and her problems send her spiraling in a pursuit to realize what is real and what is not and to save her sanity before it’s too late.
